The Sarens Demag AC500 all-terrain crane started the year with a successful project in Almalyk, Uzbekistan, where it had been used by customer AGMK over the course of two weeks in January.
There, the powerful 500T-capacity crane dismantled an old mill and installed a new one weighing 67.2T and measuring 15.7 metres tall. The AC500 was selected for its load capacity as well and its dimensions, which made it suitable for indoor work.
To get the crane to the client’s work site, Sarens delivered it via 10 trailers. It took 10 days for complete mobilisation, including customs clearance. Once at its destination, setting up the crane was a fast process that took only one day, despite on-site congestion and a challenging rigging plan.
“Sarens teamwork helped with the safe execution of the job, and made our client happy,” remarked Sarens project manager Singh Manjith. Sarens congratulates everyone involved in delivering this crane to the client and ensuring a successful project!
