The International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine released the IC50 rankings of the world's largest crane-owning companies for 2020. Companies are ranked by their IC Index, calculated as the total maximum load moment rating, in tonne-metres, of all cranes in a fleet. We had a total of 210 companies included in the rankings for 2020.

The grand total IC Index value of all the companies in 2020 was more than 4% higher than last year at 29.271.977 up from 28.051.368 tonne-metres in 2019.

Sarens made major investment in capacity building adding new equipment to serve the heavy lift and specialised transport industry. Despite general economic slowdown Sarens IC Index values for 2020 were 2.760.331.

Sarens has always been the reference in the industry. We continued investing in a cutting-edge asset base. Along with the massive SGC-250 we added multiple new ATs to renew our telescopic crane rental fleet. We also added a new climbing system, the CS350 which is capable of considerably increasing the efficiency of the projects.

Wim Sarens, CEO says, “Even today when the economies and organisations are struggling with Covid-19 pandemic, we at Sarens are working round the clock to serve our clients following all safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and clients.”
