Sarens in Thailand is proud to support Thai Tank Terminal in Rayong Province under a multi-year crane rental contract that reflects the trust placed in Sarens’ expertise and responsiveness. As part of this ongoing partnership, Sarens is supplying mobile cranes ranging from 25 to 50 tonnes to support routine and ad-hoc maintenance activities at the Thai Tank Terminal facility in Map Ta Phut.

The two-year contract, running from 2024 through 2026, ensures that Thai Tank Terminal has reliable, on-demand access to well-maintained lifting equipment and skilled operators. Cranes are stationed nearby and can be deployed to the site with as little as three days’ notice—maximising flexibility and minimising downtime.

Right Equipment for the Right Environment

The constrained layout of the Thai Tank Terminal facility required careful planning and equipment selection. Sarens deployed compact mobile cranes that deliver both the power and precision needed to operate in tight spaces without compromising on safety or performance.

“The performance of our mobile cranes has been excellent throughout,” says Ukrit Phorjai, Project Leader at Sarens in Thailand. “Despite the limited space, the equipment operated with precision and stability, helping us meet every requirement efficiently.”

Efficient, On-Call Deployment

No additional transportation or complex setup is needed: the cranes are driven directly to the job site from the nearby parking area. Once on site, only a short readiness check is required before they are fully operational. Each job is managed by a dedicated Sarens operator, ensuring smooth, consistent execution.

Lift requirements vary depending on the client's needs, from routine tasks to more technical operations. The cranes’ flexibility allows them to handle a wide range of weights, heights, and radii—always within the constraints of a tight operating environment.

Navigating Site Challenges

In addition to the physical limitations of the work site, the team had to manage logistical factors like narrow access roads, surrounding traffic, and typical weather fluctuations, including high heat and occasional rainfall. Careful coordination and strict adherence to safety protocols helped overcome these challenges without disrupting operations.

Why Sarens?

Thai Tank Terminal selected Sarens for its competitive offer and global reputation. The client recognised Sarens' ability to deliver flexible and safe solutions with local expertise backed by international experience. A Non-Disclosure Agreement was signed prior to project launch to protect sensitive information and ensure confidentiality.

As the contract continues through 2026, Sarens in Thailand remains committed to providing responsive, safe, and professional crane services to support Thai Tank Terminal’s critical operations.
