Since 2024, Sarens has been providing ongoing crane support in Thailand for daily maintenance operations at the GCME Project in Map Ta Phut, Rayong province. Under a Yearly Contract rental agreement with PTT Global Chemical ME, Sarens has ensured reliable and efficient lifting solutions tailored to the specific needs of the site.

At the heart of this operation is a fleet of mobile cranes ranging from 25 to 70 tonnes, chosen for their manoeuvrability, quick setup, and suitability for confined spaces. With the crane stationed permanently on site, mobilisation delays have been eliminated. The equipment is ready to operate at a moment’s notice, responding to the client's daily maintenance requests with speed and precision.

Tasks typically involve lifting mechanical parts such as pumps, valves, and piping components—each lift carefully planned to match the constraints of space and time. Despite the daily scheduling and limited work area, Sarens has maintained a strong safety record, in strict compliance with PTTGC ME’s regulations. The planning phase focused on verifying crane specifications, conducting detailed risk assessments, and preparing certified personnel to ensure seamless execution from day one.

All operations have been managed by a single, experienced crane operator, underscoring the simplicity and efficiency of the setup. The equipment has performed reliably throughout, with the client expressing satisfaction over the cranes’ flexibility and consistent performance under pressure.

Sarens was selected for this project thanks to its competitive offer and recognised international expertise in heavy lifting. The collaboration demonstrates Sarens' ability to integrate global capabilities with local service, delivering tailored solutions that quietly support the day-to-day heartbeat of an industrial giant
