In August 2025, Sarens in France successfully delivered two extraordinary lifting operations at the Port of Dieppe as part of the EPR2 project, commissioned by Herbosch-Kiere.

On August 1st, our team carried out the launch of a 188-metre-long pipeline weighing 43 tonnes. The real challenge lay not in the weight, but in preventing deformation during the operation. This required the flawless synchronisation of eight telescopic cranes, with capacities ranging from 80 to 120 tonnes—a true industrial choreography, meticulously planned and executed with remarkable precision.

Just two weeks later, on August 14th, Sarens faced an even greater challenge: lifting a 170-metre-long pipeline with a total weight of 193 tonnes. To accomplish this, we mobilised our largest telescopic cranes and once again ensured millimetre-level coordination between machines and teams.

These two operations stand as a testament to the strength of preparation, precision of execution, and excellence of teamwork that define Sarens. We are proud of our teams for delivering such demanding lifts with unwavering dedication and expertise.

We also extend our thanks to HERBOSCH-KIERE for their continued trust in Sarens.
