Sarens exhibited for the first time at the 2nd World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) event held in Le Bourget - Paris from 28-30 June, 2016. The World Nuclear Exhibition is deemed as one of the most prominent platforms for the nuclear industry worldwide.
Resolutely international and business-oriented, WNE covers the entire nuclear energy field. With 500 exhibitors, 7,215 visitors and numerous business meetings, networking sessions and profitable signatures and partnership contracts, the 1st edition's success in 2014 made WNE the leading event for the global nuclear energy community.
For 2016, the event saw about 650 exhibitors from all over the world, 27 countries being represented, who shared their know-how and skills with over 10,000 international highly-qualified decision-makers. There were leading companies such as Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, Westinghouse and EDF Energy who assembled to collaborate on the future of the industry, and ensure Europe is leading the worldwide nuclear energy development.
The event was focused around the theme of "The Nuclear Industry In The Global Energy Mix" which was exemplified through panel discussions, product demonstrations and awards.
In the words of Gerrit Zenner, Key Account Manager, Global Projects Nuclear & Thermal Plants, "Displaying a booth at the WNE presented us with an opportunity to showcase our expertise and prestigious projects to the top-notch clients present during the conference. It was also a great learning experience regarding the latest technologies and the new clients entering the market"
Sarens has in the past been associated with some of the prestigious Nuclear power projects from around the globe, the most noteworthy being the project done at Flamanville Nuclear Power Plant.
