Sarens Algérie is proud to share that Wim Sarens, CEO of Sarens along with Hamid Batata, Managing Director of Sarens Algérie, recently met with His Excellency Mr Mohamed Arkab, Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies, during an official visit to Algiers.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss Sarens’ continued commitment to the Algerian market and explore future investment and collaboration opportunities in the country’s energy sector.

During the exchange, both parties emphasised the importance of strengthening partnerships to support Algeria’s energy ambitions, including conventional and renewable energy projects. Sarens reaffirmed its readiness to contribute through its global expertise in heavy lifting, engineered transport, and project logistics.

Sarens has been active in Algeria for over two decades, supporting strategic projects across the oil, gas, and infrastructure sectors. This latest dialogue marks a new step towards deepening our engagement and helping drive Algeria’s energy transition.
