The pre-war era railroad
bridge across the river Meuse needed to be replaced by a more
modern looking bridge. This is where Sarens came in to lend a hand
using one of its TC2800 positioned on top of our twin barges Karel
& Victor. Per phase 3 iron bridge parts weighing 160tons each
will be replaced by their concrete successors of 305tons per piece.
After the completion of 4 phases, trains will be rolling for years
to come on the Brussels-Namur line.
