Internationale Schwerlasttage, organized every two years, is one of the key events for the heavylift and specialized transport industry. The event took place in Hohenroda, Germany this month and was attended by professionals from segments like power, onshore and offshore wind, petrochemical, civil, steel construction, and assembly companies. Manufacturers of cranes and specialized transport vehicles, software developers, industry experts in the areas of financing, insurance, law, and representatives of research institutions, contracting authorities, engineering firms, associations, and the trade press were also part of the event.

Sarens, Area Sales Manager, Peter Libert, presented the subject of multiple alternative lifts at the congress. He discussed some of the best solutions offered by Sarens along with some noteworthy reference projects to the wide array of audience.

265 participants were fascinated how Sarens demonstrates its "zeal for excellence" while performing lifts and transport of complex loads including SODC modules. As per Peter, "Sarens accomplished the challenging lifts by sometimes using standard cranes, but in most cases the team deployed alternative lifting procedures." According to him, "The multiple alternative lifts provided technical and financial improvements."
