Sarens in Action

Action before real soccer can start

Europe's most modern event arena

The Swedbank Arena is Sweden's new national football stadium, with capacity for 50.000 seated sports fans and up to 65.000 concert-goers.

swedbankFour enormous girders were lifted into place by Sarens AS using 56m high SMLT lifting towers and Strand Jacks. The girders are approximately 500metric ton each (+/- 50 t) and 130m long.

The first sod of this prestigious project was cut by crown princess Victoria from Sweden in 2010, and the project will be finished during the autumn of 2011.
