The International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine released their IC T50 rankings 2017 for the transport related companies worldwide. Since the last two decades the IC T50 ranking is considered as one of the most credible ranking for the specialized transport sector. The Transport 50 Index is calculated using the total carrying capacity in metric tonnes of all specialized transport equipment in a company's fleet. The two main sections are specialized trailers and modular trailers and SPMT.

Sarens has been ranked #3 worldwide for 2017 in terms of the IC T50 Index and specialized transport equipment total carrying capacity. Sarens has added 30,475T of capacity in the last 12 months, an increase of 26 % over its 2016 fleet total of 116,491.
